Banglamoti Rice, also known as Bengalmati Rice, is derived from a specific type of paddy. Its scientific name is Bri rice. This aromatic rice closely resembles basmati rice. It is widely used in preparing traditional Bengali dishes such as Polau and Biryani due to its superior quality and delightful aroma. Unlike sticky rice, Banglamoti rice maintains its grains even after cooking.
